Title: Some remarks on "Mathematics at the turn of the Millennium"

Abstract: The main goal of my talk is presenting a short account, intended for the nonspecialist, of the main achievements of mathematics of the twentieth century and of discussing likely trends in mathematics of the twenty-first century. The main part of my talk based on the lecture preparing for the conference "Frontiers of the mind in the 21st century" which was held in Washington 10 years ago. It is interesting to compare these predictions with events happened in the last ten years. I consider some examples from the modern mathematics as well as from the former centuries.
