Practical Information

Travel information
Ben-Gurion International Airport is serviced by numerous airlines from around the world. It is located about 20 minutes (at good traffic times!) from the Bar-Ilan campus and the conference hotel, 30 minutes from downtown Tel Aviv and one hour from Jerusalem. For arrival, departure and transportation to and from the airport look here. Taxis run 24-7 from the airport to Tel Aviv area and cost between 110-190 shekels depending on the day and time and the number of passengers and suitcases. The current rate of exchange is about 3.50 NIS (New Israeli Shekel) to the $US, 4.2 NIS to the Euro.

Accommodation
The Kfar Maccabiah Hotel is chosen as the conference hotel. The hotel is a 25 minute walk from the Bar-Ilan campus and there are busses from there to the campus as well. We have also arranged for daily transportation to and from the hotel to the Bar-Ilan campus. On Sunday, June 17, a shuttle bus from the hotel to the campus will leave at 11:15.

Venue
The talks will take place on the Bar-Ilan campus (Sunday-Wednesday) and in the conference hotel (Thursday-Friday). On Sunday and Monday the talks will take place in Beck Auditorium (building 410, room 070), and on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Mathematics Building (building 216, upper seminar room). See the campus information, including a campus map, here. Friday session will take place on the 6th floor of the main hotel building .

Entry permits will be arranged for all who provided the car details when registering. Please note that for entering Bar-Ilan, you have to use Gate 10 located on the northern side of the campus. In the case you meet a problem with finding a parking place close to the conference site, park anywhere and use free intra-campus shuttle; stops 5 and 6 are close to Beck Auditorium and the Mathematics Building, stops 6 and 7 are close to the Nanotechnology Building.

Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be held on the Bar-Ilan campus (building 1004) on Tuesday evening starting at 6PM.

Excursion
The conference trip will take place on Wednesday afternoon. We will have a guided tour in Caesarea. Transportation will be provided from Bar-Ilan University and will return to the conference hotel at Kfar Maccabiah.
