General Probability (88-262)
This is a 2-hour-a-week, one semester course taken by math
minors (most of whom are CS majors) as well as students on the
"CS murhav" track. I have taught this course since
1998/9. The students
continue from this course to a one-semester course on statistics.
You can look at the official syllabus here.
I follow this plan for my lectures
(the plan covers 11 lectures; unfortunately both times I have
taught the course there have been strikes that have "shortened"
the semester). Below you can find
exercise sets, handouts, and past exams.
